Tigers 63-53 today, with the suspicion that it would take a long time before Crimson could score 30 points in a first half against this version of Berube’s defense. One bid for the Ivies this year. I thought it could have gone either way but the P women would not be denied. Berube has done a great job at P from day one inheriting a solid legacy from Banghart and improving on it. I think this was her best coaching performance yet. A thin roster whittled further by losing a backup to injury, and without some of the height we had become accustomed to and managing to navigate to a title and tourney win. Well done by the staff and players.

Vast majority of the minutes went to just six players, none over 6’1”, and they ended up 26-3 and ranked #23 for the past several weeks. Congrats to this impressive Tiger team, I’m looking forward to seeing them in the Big Dance!
