 I don't get you Columbia guys. I post a sentiment which is unambiguously praise and admiration for one of your star players whom I respect and you take offense.

You know, my post did not suggest that the words, "Full credit to Griffith for a recruiting pitch which covered up that Manhattan is noisy" was in The Athletic article. That was my punchline, which obviously did not land with you.

I don't expect everybody else to have my sense of humor, but taking offense where none is intended is on you, not me.

Away from that, I hope you enjoy the game and the atmosphere at Levien later this afternoon. My girlfriend Megan has built something special at Columbia and you Lion fans should revel in it.
