#3 seed UConn defeats #1 seed USC to advance to its record 23rd Final Four. USC is essentially one freshman sensation, JuJu Watkins, plus a 2023 Ivy League all-star team, Kaitlyn Davis (Columbia), McKenzie Forbes (Harvard) and Kayla Padilla (Penn).

Isn't that amazing? Three all-Ivy caliber players plus one great freshman equals a #1 seed team.

Davis, Forbes and Padilla aren't even Ivy POY caliber stars. They're just very good Ivy players.

What will Abbey Hsu and Kaitlyn Chen put up next year?

After learning about Kaitlyn Davis, McKenzie Forbes and Kayla Padilla starting for USC on this Ivy League Sports Board, I started to closely follow this team during the rest of the season.

I have been so impressed by these three former Ivy League athletes play on the Trojan team against elite nationally ranked teams - Stanford, U Conn, UCLA, Colorado, Utah, and Oregon State. Clearly, our best Ivy League women hoopsters can compete with anybody. Bravo!
