A friend of mine invited my wife and me to Fenway for a game and have dinner in the Red Sox owner's suite. (I thought it was his company's private box until he told me it wasn't). After dinner, we went outside to a private area to watch the game. In between innings, my friend came over to us with a guy who welcomed us to Fenway. (I thought he was part of the work staff). He had a Red Sox hat and a striped shirt and a world series ring on. It was Larry. Of course, I had no clue he was an owner until my friend asked me if I knew who he was and I said, no. I still have the 8x11 picture of Larry, me, my wife and my friend that is somwhere in one of our moving boxes from a recent move. I did not know at the time that I just met someone who had a major impact on the game. [ Post a Reply to This Message ]
