Anybody catch Seth Towns playing in the HBCU All Star Game (Howard), seen on CBS this past Sunday from Phoenix?

I'm oblivious to any controversy, but I did notice today others referring to your Seth Towns post, so I found it.

Missed the HBCU All Star game, and can't even find a box score anywhere.
I believe Seth has another year of NCAA eligibility. I think he might have three degrees by this time. Given his interests a year at Harvard's IOP would seem to suit Seth. Too bad the Ivy League's policy of requiring you use up your eligibility with your class if you stay enrolled would prevent that. This league could use some graduate students to fill out thinning rosters.

Seth is a great example of the positive use of the portal for Ivy League athletes. While I also would prefer we allow our students to use some of their eligibility for Ivy League graduate studies, Seth is getting his PhD at Howard. Maybe he can teach some of our Ivy student athletes down the road.

I was at the game, played in front of over 7,000 fans at Grand Canyon University's beautiful arena. Seth didn't play well, but we shared some Ivy League history and I got to meet his parents. Getting a PhD from Howard is a good start on post-college life.
