 We have been told by one poster that this PU undertaking is (I paraphrase) a joke because there is no collective, only a "bulletin board posting" by individual athletes or sponsors. A collective, on the other hand, is a pooling of booster funds. I don't know how the PU effort a tually compares to a true collective and I am wary of individuals (posters) who push an objective in which they have or seek a vested interest, althouhh i recognize it is possible that PU is out of step with a collective approach. Perhaps someone with athletic department connections can address

I do question the asssrtion that other ivies will necessarily refrain from opposing Harvard's position even if they disagree, which is different from affirnatively agreeing with that position.
