Austin Coronado is a three-star recruit who attended St. John Bosco High School, the same high school as was attended by Caleb Sanchez, our very promising freshman quarterback. Coach Poppe's hard work is paying big dividends

The first year class has no RBs. While we have excellent returning RB talent in Giorgi and Terry, I believe both are now in their last year of eligibility.

Elliot Cooper is part of Notre Dame Sherman Oaks relay team whose times are posted on many track and field websites on the Internet. Track and field times are actual verified times. Notre Dame Sherman Oaks has a very fast 4x100 relay team with Cooper running the first 100 meter leg at 10.82. Cooper plays multiple positions on the Notre Dame Sherman Oaks football team including running back, wide receiver and defensive back. I suspect the Lions will use him as a running back and also on kickoff and punt returns. He is going to be a very good football player at Columbia.

Excellent size for the defensive end position. Reminds me of the great Marcellus Wiley who entered Columbia as a 6'4" 215 running back who grew into a 6'5' 285 defensive end and second round NFL draft choice.

You're right--Bill hailed from Homestead, Pa., just outside Pittsburgh. When he joined Apple, he moved to Silicon Valley. Sorry my wording was unclear.

Coach Manion is touting Fournier as a big get for the defense, so who knows what position he'll ultimately play. A LB given his size?

is my alma mater, turning out some big-time players over the last several yrs, starting QB at W&M possible qb starter at Rutgers rb at Dartmouth, I think DT at Northwestern or somewhere in B10 quite a few more at lower levels. My grad class in 1968 was biggest ever at 117, now school well over 800 and they recruit for 30 miles plus when it used to be just northern Bronx and Westchester. It has become one of the premier football programs in tri state area competing with Bergen Catholic Don Bosco and ST A's out of LI
