Subject: Cornell upended again by Colgate 41-24

Cornell played well on offense in the first half but let Colgate pull away in the second half. Not unexpected given the new head coach. Once again my biggest concern though is no running game for the Big Red. Wang threw for 300 yards, but he also led the offense in rushing. Defense struggled but with no running game, they were on the field most of the game. I will never understand why coaches today have the running back along side the QB and everytime Wang handed off we just got stuffed. Go Big Red!

This looks like more of the same from The Big Red. Jameson Wang is spectacular and the rest of the team is inconsistent. This year is possibly the “growing pain” season , with the hopes of transitioning into something better. With that said the change in coaching is refreshing, even if at the moment it feels like the prior regime.

I think you have to give the coach a few recruiting classes before passing judgement.

Plenty of successful coaches the league needed time to get things going.

A very much improved product. Played hard fast disciplined football. Shoddy tackling against Colgate's running attack was a significant factor. The three game differential was clearly a difference maker. 10 new starters on offense didn't help.
Stayed with them through late first half. A reason for optimism.

Thank God we have a new Coach, and Martha Pollack is gone. Much brighter days ahead for Cornell Big Red. Archer was a total dud and a cheap hire. We’ve got someone now with some real chops. Swanstrom has been affiliated with winning programs and Cornell will develop through the season, not fold over the last half of the season like they did with Archer. Look for the Big Red to get better and better and thankfully they will not have to deal with Martha Pollacks disdain of athletes and football players in particular.

Not sure if we were watching the same game. Cornell is awful this year. Colgate run the ball up and down the field. Defense offered little resistance. Colgate is 1 dimensional and Big Red still could not stop them. Offense started with a bang, but Colgate had no film on them. Once they figured our offensive scheme, we were 3 and out. No run game, TEs don’t want to hit anybody. WRs looked to be the bright spot., but QB is a scrambler not a true passer.
