I know that Field Hockey is not one of the discussed sports here. But, aside from generally being a fan of all the P teams, some 44/5 years ago I "recruited" as part of the local schools committee, Martha Russo '84. A day schooler (AsiaSunset's alma mater, just to add some local board twist, lol), AD Myslik told me she was one of the top 5 athletic recruits in her class. She became an All-American, world class collegian who then suffered a knee injury. Became a well-regarded sculptor.

Told me that as part of her campus job, she kept people off the court at Jadwin. When she stopped a short, older gent, he replied, "I coach these guys." I became a follower of the program since then.

Today, in a tense, intense contest, P beat #1 and perennial power Maryland 2-1 at home.

My bad, Md was only ranked 6th. But still a good win and a good game to watch however it was going to end.

5-1 crushing of Dartmouth gives Princeton field hockey at least a title tie and the home field advantage for the ILT.
