CU was the better team. You could see this one coming from Yale's first series on offense.

They know full well that Yale's only remaining goal this season is to beat the Crimson.

Columbia gave as gutty of a performance as we've seen this year. Hat is off.

Great comeback victory for the Columbia Lions. Many individual heroes including, of course, quarterback Cole Freeman and wide receiver Bryson Canty, but the entire Columbia Football team played very well.

Cole was very good. Seemed much more relaxed throwing the ball compared to the Gtown game. And the td to BC was really a great throw.

I think Y has been scoring over 30 ppg; defense did a great job holding them to 10. Coach Sto is a very good DC

Yale is a very good team, so for me the takeaway is the great defensive game called by Stovall. I had some trepidations with the red zone offense in the first half—as in the Dartmouth game we had the ball twice, once on the 2 and once on the 5, and only came up with 3 points. Coach needs to work on our short yardage red zone offense—I like the sophomore power bac, Johnson, in those situations.

Agree. I thought one of the under the radar potential 5th year players who chose to move on was Tyson Edwards. A bigger, stronger red zone RB (and also a terror on special teams). I heard he is on LSU roster this year. Johnson may be that red zone threat

wow it was a great game for sure - Canty/Freeman was highlight reel material! I had my doubts when our starting QB was knocked out for the season but here we are!

now it seems that our AD Piling is a genius with this young head coach hire and I find it ironic that Yale was forecast to be #1 and here we beat them - I don't remember the prognosticators being this wrong and off the mark in other seasons. - I'd love to find some reason to throw some shade on Dartmouth to get GG going but will bask in this win !

Actually for pure entertainment value I will give out some bad Green vibes -- Yes Harvard should beat Dartmouth -- I really don't think Hanover Green is the real deal at all and I love to disrespect them -- if we get past Harvard then I think we have a chance to have a decent record!

Yale attempted several deep throws which in general were well defended. I noticed that there is a first year DB who started and seemed to play well. We didn’t seem to take as many deep shots—with Canty I think I’d go to the deep sideline route more often.

Sitting behind Yale bench was not surprised to hear players on a Reno team screaming obscenities the whole second half at Columbia players. Classless and embarrassing

Solid win over Yale.

Both Columbia lines played very well. Columbia defense held Yale to only 10 after Yale’s earlier season scores of 43, 38, 38, and 31.

Cole Freeman’s a tough competitor who has a good arm and is a gutsy runner.

Considering the number of injuries to several very key players, including an Ivy Offensive Player of the Week, QB1 Chase Goodwin, Columbia is pushing through and forging ahead admirably.

H > D = Columbia, Harvard, Dartmouth all at 3-1 and tied for first. It’s a new day.
