And David Archer's teams never gave up this many points in a single game - not in eleven years!

Liam O’Brien had originally committed to Cornell for lacrosse. His parents were both varsity athletes at Cornell.

24 possessions, 2 punts. Like playing Monopoly with four dice (which I recommend if your life’s been unduly dull recently).

In a shootout like this one 3 turnovers by Cornell did not help their cause. Winning is based 90% on talent 10% coaching I was told. Archer's regime did not recruit at the level necessary for success. Swanstrom is just starting his recruiting efforts.

This game was a track meet at least in the first half, but the difference was the Penn running game with #1 rushing for something like 196 yards. As a result Penn won the game of possession by 10 minutes, thus the Cornell defense was toast in the second half. I will never understand why the Cornell OC's just forget about the running game. When your QB passes for 400 yards, 9 times out of 10 you're still going to lose the game. Regardless of the head coach, Cornell continues to make this mistake year after year after year.
