Better late than never. Some ivy fans will have to overcome their gag reflex to see their teams play in those upper midwest flyover destinations.

I see Hero Sports magnanimously suggests "some" ivy teams "may" have been good enough for a "quarterfinal" (final 8) run.

More seriously, I think this could help counter, a little, the NIL recruiting disadvantage. On the other hand, it could lead to making coaching positions less comfy and increased financial burdens in hiring competitive staffs.

And this raises another fundamental question. If Ivy League schools like Harvard and Yale are prepared to participate in the D1 FCS Playoffs, does this mean that it now acceptable for NESCAC schools like Williams and Amherst to participate in the D3 Playoffs?
