In case of tie breaker have the school presidents arm wrestle each other — although jousting is also appealing for pageantry and visual effect -jousters in school colors with undergrads as squires !!
In another note - Fordham football went to 12 games this year - wow! Agreed that we could add a game - possibly have byes !! Funny how this playoff arrival came in under the radar!

Also bring back grilled burgers or Dinosaur bbq to games!

FCS is allowed 12 games in years where there is an extra weekend between Labor Day and Thanksgiving. All FCS schools (not just Fordham) did so this year...except, of course, the Ivy League.

There will be 12 games for FCS next year, as well. Then the next occurrence will be 2030.

Looks like the nonscholarship programs went with 11 games this past season as well. Georgetown and a few PFLs (although I didn't check all).

Admittedly, I did not check the records of every FCS school before posting that.
However, there were 12-game schedules played by a significant majority of FCS programs, including 4 of 11 Pioneer League teams.
