Looks like another example of superior scouting by the Yale recruiters which was also the case with Kamara. The Ivy League is excellent in general in finding these hidden gems. Paying college athletes is now legal and that is not going to change

To assume athletes will opt for the Ivy League as opposed to
UVa/Duke/Vanderbilt/Stanford/Notre Dame/Army/Navy/Northwestern because we are the Ivy League and we DON’T give NIL money is , at the very best, wishful thinking.

As I see it options are

1) No NIL money and hello DIV 3 in all sports

2) Allow NIL money from alumni, BTW they can’t legally stop it anyway, and
watch our wealthy alumni base create an national athletic powerhouse in any sport we choose.
