 Up to this point the top seed in the women’s tournament has won. On the other hand, in the men’s tournament #1 seed Princeton lost in the conference tournament in 2022 and 2024.

I’d love to see The Men’s and Women’s Ivy Madness Tournaments held on the final weekend in February. This will instantly increase more visibility for Ivy League Basketball. As for the conference tournament a simple revision will increase the quality.

Quarterfinal #3 vs.#4
Semifinal QF winner vs. #2
Championship SF winner vs.#1

Since The NIT is no longer guaranteeing a bid for the conferences’ top regular season team it’s crucial that The Ivy’s best team has the best chance of receiving a NCAA Tournament spot.
