On a day that Cornell won its 33rd Ivy League title and senior CJ Kirst tied the NCAA Division I record for career goals, it was the quiet plays that added up to give top-ranked Cornell a 20-12 victory at No. 10 Harvard on Saturday afternoon at Jordan Field. The win was Cornell's third this season over a top 10 opponent by five or more goals and improved the Big Red to 11-1 (5-0 Ivy), while the Crimson fell to 9-3 (3-2 Ivy). Below is their ranking prior to this past weekend's games. https://www.ncaa.com/news/lacrosse-men/article/2025-04-19/ncaa-di-mens-lacrosse-committee-reveals-top-10 Also, note that some brackets will be set up based on geography rather than seedings, meaning that a team seeded, say 3d, won't necessarily be playing the team ranked 14th in the first round. Harvard already out of ILT, effectively no NCAA shot. Saturday Cornell at Yale for the last ILT position with BPP. Eli will be in NCAA, but position could change dramatically if they lose to Red.
