So let me understand, the Ivy League had 2 players drafted and 1 other invited to camp. But several posters on here keep saying how the quality of play has gotten better. What you mean is that there are fewer NFL-quality players than in a long time. Mediocrity and balance prevails, as evidence by a three way tie for first and no tie breakers (although there was head-to-head competition) so, like in summer camp, lots of participation trophies. Good balance equals more fun for the fans, as anybody can beat anybody else during the seven games.

I sure enjoyed the 2024 season.

Btw I posited here 4 years ago that the ability for all players to play a fifth year (to make up for canceled 2020 season) would reduce the talent gap in the league. Two 3-way ties later I will declare my prediction accurate

Columbia’s share of the title had major contributions from 13 5th year players

Dartmouth has one camp invite and probably four or five others with tryout invitations. And another who signed a pro contract in Europe.

Of course, all of them went to grad schools after leaving Hanover...
