But several posters on here keep saying how the quality of play has gotten better. What you mean is that there are fewer NFL-quality players than in a long time. Mediocrity and balance prevails, as evidence by a three way tie for first and no tie breakers (although there was head-to-head competition) so, like in summer camp, lots of participation trophies. Btw I posited here 4 years ago that the ability for all players to play a fifth year (to make up for canceled 2020 season) would reduce the talent gap in the league.
