Basically, for around a decade I’ve been strongly advocating for the Ivy League to adopt the same rules as the Patriot League, their historic OOC scheduling partner. They rule changes are: 1) FCS playoffs 2) an 11 game schedule (rest of FCS now at 12) 3) athletic scholarships (which will allow for FBS opponents) One down, three to go. At the glacial pace of change we’ve grown accustomed to in the Ivy League, this is good progress. Hopefully in the next ten years we’ll see another domino ot two fall.
