Great win over a talented California team with an excellent 6'6" center. Columbia led nearly the entire game, but Cal made a good run towards the end. Columba's Big Three--Riley Weiss, Perri Page and Mia Broom all came up big for the Lions who will be on their way shortly to Wichita, Kansas to face the University of Wisconsin in the semi-finals of the Women's Basketball Invitational Tournament. If the Lions defeat Wisconsin, they will play either the University of Kansas or Brigham Young University in the Championship Game.

I watched the game and the Lions were incredible. There was a scare when Cal took the lead by 1 with like 6 minutes left but the Lions seemed to be in control during the entirety of the game. They were able to execute down the stretch and show great composure and resilience. Perri was a beast!!! She took a nasty blow that left a horrific hematoma but came back and got right to being unstoppable on the court. Very proud of this team and I feel like they are not done!
