Only saw part of the game. Penn has only two seniors?! If so, whatever they achieve this season is prelude.

P WLAX is a good, not great, team overrated in the pre-season. Both teams were fun to watch, especially Penn which has long been well coached. P might get into the Ivy tourney but they have work to do.

I will have to watch the replay. Just saw it was on ESPNU. Another tough road game on Saturday, with a trip to Yale. Hopefully, several Ivy teams make NCAA.

Hope you can watch the ESPNU replay, because it was a terrific lacrosse game. It was as riveting as the two men's basketball OT wins in the Ivy Tournament. Karin Brower and staff know how to develop players. There has been an enormous improvement in team communication and efficiency since February. That said, I'm concerned about facing Yale on only two days rest.

Looking at the current RPI, any Ivy team beyond YPP would have to win the ILT to make the NCAAs.

Unranked Penn is playing a top ranked team on the road 2 1/2 days from a double overtime game also on the road.
How is that game winnable?

WII —

First off, your question and presentation are completely legit. Isaac Newton could not have done better. Your worry is well-grounded.

Now, in my experience (and even bypassing the types of stimulents unique to our generation) I have on occasion observed effects of adrenalin and/or magic noir on college student athletes that pretty much defy rational analysis. I’ll bet you have too. ??

Hence the wisdom: “That’s why they play the game”

Of course, the Pope and I are lifelong White Sox fans.

Is it even *FAIR* for any professional sports team to use the rooting support of a sitting Pope?

That should be against the rules.

A professional sports team? No, of course not.

But this is the White Sox. Will Venable needs the help.
