As one of the five worst duffers on the list, let me mention the good fortune of our undergrads in playing the Ivy championships this weekend at Baltusrol.

My work having taken me to a number of great courses, I think of those I’ve seen only Merion and Augusta National rival the qualities both visual and competitive of Baltusrol, with an asterisk for the links course Shinnecock.

If you’re anywhere near, a drop by the course for the tourney would serve you well if you haven’t been. Saturday looks like a washout, but otherwise….

joisey and Spuyten,

I don't see where you guys get off unilaterally anointing yourselves the worst golfers on this message board. If you want to give yourselves the crown, let's do this the right way: on the course.

I will give you guys a run for your money like you've never seen. You're talking to the champ.

Better give a heads up to the grounds crew. They're going to want some extra time to repair the course afterwards.
