Great day to be Tiger. Women roar late to beat Yale by 4, then the men, in an outcome few people foresaw, crush Cornell by 10. The #1 seed for the men is in play and would be a great help.

Yale women certain to make the NCAA; Cornell men also will make the NCAA and probably be a first round host. Yale still has a shot in the men's field.

Outstanding performance by the Tigers laxmen today, thumping the Big Red on their home field in the ILT championship game.

The defense and goalie play was lights out, allowing only 4 goals while scoring 12 in the second half. ESPN commentators noted Princeton’s depth and ball movement on offense. The Tigers found many ways to score today including SSDM Jackson Green on a fast break and FOGO Andrew McMeekin on a behind the back shot. Meanwhile the Princeton D shut down Cornell’s big guns, Ryan Goldstein and Willem Firth, holding them to a combined 3 goals.

This is a fun team to watch, they are capable of playing deep into the NCAA tournament.

NCAA has inexplicably leaked first round mens pairings next weekend.

Cornell is seeded #7 and plays Hopkins Friday @ 5:00 pm in Ithaca.

Yale makes the tournament and plays #6 Syracuse at SU @ 5:00 pm Saturday.

They appear to have plugged the leak so we don't know if Princeton is #1 or #2 behind Notre Dame If the latter, that would probably mean a Cornell rematch in round 2, which would be unfortunate.

And on the women's side, Rutgers plays Princeton at PU Friday @ 2:00 pm, and Yale plays Boston College (oof) in Boston Friday @ 4:00 pm.
