Two stunning bursts to completely change the flavor of the season — and both by Princeton.

Yale and Princeton women played very even for three quarters, with an Eli goal with :02 left in the third putting them up 8-6 and seemingly poised to take charge. Tigers then had five players score six unanswered goals in the fourth to win big 12-8 in a statement win. They get the AQ.

Men’s game was relatively even in first half, Tigers up 7-5 going into the locker room. Then, like the Friday Yale game, they came out and scored nine straight goals to start the third period and obliterated the Top 5 Red 19-9. Tigers had five guys with multiple goals, five with multiple assists, and Croddick with 18 saves. They’ll be seeded #1 or #2 in NCAA, Cornell maybe #4, maybe not. Yale should make it too as of the games today.

These two huge road wins really speak well of the Tiger coaches and captains, and add up to another banner day for the very well managed Princeton program, one of many the last couple years.
