Total package this year with the best offense in the country (9 players scored yesterday), co-winner of the best goalie in the country, a culture of teamwork and hustle (Princeton won ground balls 46-30 yesterday), outstanding FOGO performance, and a defense that held its opponents to 10 goals or less in 14 of 19 games against one of the toughest schedules in the country. Congrats to Coach Madalon and his staff, who have been together for many years, and the seniors who set the tone and put the team back on track after a miserable 1Q against Penn State in their opening game on February 14. And although they will need to plug holes at goalie and FOGO, the #1 recruiting class from 3 years ago will be seniors next year and Princeton should be in the mix again next May. Go Tigers! From what I read the HC salary differentials are not remotely what we see in the major sports. Also he has the No. 2 recruiting class coming in 2027. And the only current "big time" vacancy (UVA) brings some significant baggage in the form of star player parental involvement. I can see one of Tiger highly regarded assistant coaches making a move to HC, though. [ Post a Reply to This Message ]
