My recent picks were 1-1. Bring the total to 36-18. As soon as it was announced Ivy Football will now be permitted to play in post season, I was pinning to see Ivy Football make a statement in the playoffs- Just like HYP has done so in Men's BB for a decade now. Yale provided it!

The Bulldogs defensive second adjustment seemed keen on stopping Youngstown QB. Youngstown's QB looked like a glorified Wildcat QB. Yale's defensive ends did an outstanding job on seling off the edge. The DT's did an impressive job of cloging the middle. Youngstown's QB looked out of place when forced to pass. No one was going to question The Bulldog rush attack. I was impressed with the Tight Ends TD receptions and Reno's pinpoint accuracy.
Most of the year Jaxon Santiago when called upon was a vertical threat. When he was lost to injury Anderson did a stellar job on filling in as the go- to reciver

I questioned Youngstown (8-4) being in the playoffs, especially when Alabama St (10-2) wasn't selected. Yale's 2016 win over Harvard was a modern history program changing victory. Last Saturday might be another one. Yale's reward is to play their first ever December game.

Saturday's game was Harvard's first post season game since the 1920 Rose Bowl. Last week's outcome made Harvard look like it was their first game since That Rose Bowl Championship.

I expected a close Harvard win, but wouldn't be surprised if Villanova won by a tiny margin. Villanova quickly tore though Harvard like a hot knife into butter. Yale was able to re adjust. Harvard looked shunned and wanted to expedite the end of this hellish experience. The Crimson had several mised tackles to the point Villanova offense looked like it was running effortlessly. Harvard's three dropped touchdowns and turnovers prevented the game to look competitive.

This was Harvard's worst loss since 1964, as Dartmouth won 48-0.

This is a substantial loss in confidence. Yet, a full appraisal will show Harvard is a dominant team. This team has three consecutive league championships. That something the Alabamas, Georgia's, Ohio State 's with their millions uopm millions of dollars can't obtain! Congrats to Harvard's remarkable football program.

Play off pick: Montana St 38 Yale 21
