Refs didn't call defensive holding on Dartmouth's first drive, and we blew some opporunities for a TD on the second drive, but we're up 3-0.

Cornell has some tall receivers.

Dartmouth has to do a better job tackling on first contact.

DJ Crowther finally breaks one (67-yard TD run).

24-14 Dartmouth victory!

Ww are out of the race. Probably need Harvard to beat Yale for us to get a shot at the FCS playoffs...

I don't see any chance of the playoffs for Dartmouth. If Yale beats Harvard they are most likely in.

... then they get the Ivy's auto-bid. And Harvard will likely get an at-large bid.

Dartmouth will be left out in the cold.

If Harvard wins, they get the auto-bid, and Dartmouth *might* get an at-large.

This assumes that Dartmouth takes care of business against Brown, of course.

"might" sure, anything is possible just not likely in my opinion.

Cornell came back to reality as Dartmouth was clearly the better team. Same as earlier in the season as we passed like 45 times and only rushed for 41 yards. Same old crap again. GBR!

Cornell's great mid-season run comes to an end.

Dartmouth was better yesterday. If Cornell played a cleaner game, I still think they lose 24-21 or 27-21.

If Cornell can beat Columbia, that would put a cap on a strong Ivy season (4-3). Swanstrom has this program headed in the right direction.

Dartmouth has no shot at the playoffs. I now think that even if Harvard loses to Yale, that both Harvard and Yale make the playoffs. How could you keep Harvard out at this point?

If the Ivy League gets two bids, and Yale loses to Harvard, I think Dartmouth has the inside track to the second bid. Assuming they beat Brown, which is probable.

First, Dartmouth would be 8-2 and Yale 7-3. Plus Dartmouth won head to head. The big if will be does the Ivy League get a second bid at all. Who knows what the selection committee thinks about our league?

Maybe CCSU still wins the NEC, but Dartmouth had a stronger case for an at-large bid before CCSU laid an egg yesterday.

but there is no chance Yale beats Harvard. We aren't getting an at large bid, maybe if we hadn't lost to Penn early. I am, more worried that DJ Crowther doesn't get Ivy offensive PO of the week over Craig bc Pits got it for rushing for 140 something and DJ went for 197. He needs about190 to over 1000 for the year which would-be nice bc we haven't had one in awhile

I did see the mysterious long lost Foehi the other day at Riomar

Penn put up a lot of points against Harvard; I think the Crimson are beatable (and may have peaked too soon). Yale is historically strong in November, especially when playing at home. It will come down, I think, to whether the Harvard O-line can protect Craig against the Yale pass rush. If Craig has time to operate, he’s very good; if not, we’ll see…

Unlike Dartmouth, there are times when Yale plays its best football against Harvard.

Whether or not that happens this Saturday remains to be seen.

...Crowther has a higher average yards per carry than Pitsenberger.

But Pits has nearly 40 more carries, so he has more yards.
