And I thought P-Y last several minutes was dramatic. Then I flipped on H-Penn.

Brown and Columbia went down to the wire as well.

Three straight three-point losses for Tigers, the difference between 2-4 and 5-1.

The battle of the frustrated next Saturday between P/P could be pretty intense.

Some thin lines between a W and an L. But kudos to the winners in our close loses, they got the job done.

You couldn't have asked for much more in our first year going to the FCS playoffs, The Game for the automatic bid. I get that Harvard may receive an at-large bid if necessary, but it's pretty close to a winner-take-all scenario. I presume that the folks at CNBC (or whatever network it's on) are happy.

Agreed. While the focus on the board has understandably been on Harvard, Yale is in position. H could lose the automatic bid in this traditional, big rivalry game. H might well clearly deserve an at large bid if it loses, but I wonder if the Ivies would be given a second bid.

With the Y offense less impressive than I would have thought against P, I would have given H a clear edge. But then H gives up 43 to Penn, which is very good offense but showed that H can be vulnerable. Relative game day availability might be a factor depending on the injury lists. I still think H wins.
