I thought I'd look at the Patriot League to get a sense of how we stack up and a likelihood of getting a second bid.

Lehigh at 11-0 seems to be the class of the Patriot league, but it's SOS is equivalent to Harvard's. In many polls and analytical rankings, Harvard has moved ahead of Lehigh.

Lafayette (8-3) is tied with Lehigh at 6-0 heading into their final rivalry game Saturday. Georgetown (6-5, 3-3) is in third place, but lost 46-0 to Brown and only 42-37 to Lafayette. No one else in the league rates a mention except that 2-9 Holy Cross has had a tough luck season, losing a bunch of close games, which hasn't help Harvard's SOS.

Lafayette lost to Princeton 38-28 and beat Columbia 38-14. Lehigh beat Penn 44-30, Yale 31-13 and Columbia 31-7.

Essentially, the ratings should well have Harvard and Lehigh as roughly equivalent, whereas it seems Lafayette compares less favorable to Yale (7-2) or Dartmouth (7-2). The coaches poll has Lafayette at #24, Yale at #25, and Darmouth with votes (#28).

Should Yale or Lafayette prevail on Saturday, I would expect Lehigh and/or Harvard to get at large selections.

Again, FLOFOOTBALL's headline yesterday was "North Dakota State, Montana, Lehigh Stay Perfect." Pure Garbage and intentional attempt to 'cancel' of the Ivy League.

Sort of fueling my hopes that Harvard (and maybe Yale) kick some postseason ass.

Good to know. Where do you find the FCS Committee rankings?

I found it in a google search.
Not sure where they are released, but would think it's similar to the FBS committee that provides guidance. Some NCAA site I suppose?

Apparently the FCS playoff committee issues two in season sets of top 10 rankings: Oct 15 and Nov 5.

The Nov 5th rankings:
1. NDSU
2. Montana State
3. Montana
4. Lehigh
5. Tarleton State
6. SDSU
7. Tennessee Tech
8. Monmouth
9. Harvard
10. UC Davis
