I was struck by the pre-season IVY media polls. On the men's side, picking Penn seventh?? Granted one has to see how things jell, but they have the talent, on the court and sideline, to be predicted to finish better than that, IMO.

The Princeton women are picked first, an overly optimistic pre-season choice IMO. I realize this is a comparative analysis, but we have no experience in the middle and our veterans at forward are not as tall a group as we have in recent years if they are taking over that spot. I hope Maddie St. Rose is fully recovered, but we have to see how that plays out.

Four of the 15 nominees for mid-major WBB coach of the year at this stage have Princeton connections.

Penn has several new faces, and it will take time.

Looking forward to Macaffery era.

I understand that. But a 7th place prediction still seems low.

Which predicts what? It’s a new season, new roster with frosh and transfers.

I’m not recalling many successful Ivy teams that relied on freshmen and transfers.

Correct me if I am wrong, but they are added to their returners. And Good to see you are up to your old, misleading verbal sleight of hand. I have said the 7th place prediction is too low. I spoke nothing of what constitutes success.
