In reply to: Son of Eli 's message, "Harvard now ranked #7 in Stats Poll" on 13:05:14 11/10/25 Mon

Harvard also leapfrogged two teams that lost (Monmouth & South Dakota State) to come in at #11 in Coaches Poll.

Relieved to see that close contest with Columbia hasn't been too impactful.

As expected, if Harvard runs the table it will receipt a Bye as a top 8 seed and then host a game or two after that.

If Harvard falls to one of Penn or Yale, Crimson will absolutely still be an at large selection. Yale has been playing well and so The Game is huge this year. If Yale wins at home, despite the naysayers, it's got to be 2 bids.

To support my theory about how our late start and less games has an impact on FCS rankings, here is an article entitled "Four Undefeated Teams Remain" that fails to allude to Harvard at all.

https://www.flofootball.com/articles/14742559-fcs-football-rankings-four-undefeated-teams-remain-south-dakota-climbs

The article instead relates that "four teams tallied their tenth win of the season: North Dakota State, Montana, Lehigh, and Tennessee Tech." flofootball is a major FCS site and to them the Ivy League doesn't get reported even though flo's rankings have Harvard (11), Yale (28) and Dartmouth (29).
