Subject: YALE vs. Holy Cross...

Holy Cross has to be the best 0 and 3 team in the country. They have lost 3 games by a total of 7 points vs. three very good teams. The Crusaders could easily by 3 and 0 and in the the FCS top 10.

I think this is going to be a very tall order for a Yale team who is playing their first game of the season and shaking off the rust.

Is Reno Jr. the starter Saturday? Please share your thoughts and opinions on this game!

GO BLUE!!

Gentlemen; it is difficult at best to form an opinion when there is literally zero information about our squad for the 2025 season.

The coach's son has been impressive through three quarters and I'll be pleased to be proven wrong.

I think Yale could be the class of the league. I did watch first gtr before Dartmouth game but I am not sure how well Tony Romo's son is, he missed a few deep throws so fill me in but Pitsenberger is real deal but so its D's Crowther they both might have the best OL's in the league should be fun in a couple of weeks

Reno the Younger overthrew deep balls a lot in the first half, was more accurate in second half. But overall, he did not look like a game-dominator, to my eyes. It was a Pitsenberger-first offense for Yale today.

It was Reno's first Yale game, first home game and first start playing for his father. Not a game dominating performance, perhaps, but it came with no critical mistakes, either; better to overthrow, than to be intercepted; and coming against a credible defense, in its fourth outing. Reno did very well.

Nothing to disagree with there, Valmas. I had hoped that a recruited SEC QB might have shown signs of dominance at the Ivy level, but I'll settle for steady every week of the season. Especially since he's listed as a sophomore.

If he were throwing to SEC WRs, you likely would. Throwing to Ivy WRs the separation will be lacking. And Yale lost a lot at WR.

First start as a sophomore- I was impressed.

Gentlemen; Our blue had an overall good performance playing without several key players, including an offensive tackle, defensive tackle and split ends. Mr. Reno made some good passes and managed the squad very well. I still have a concern about linebacker and thank God for Mr. Pitsenberger looks like he is the player who will carry our squad on his back.
