Of course, GT looks like they will be headed to a pretty decent bowl game.

8.4 yds per carry is impressive.

Most of that was accrued in the Gardner-Webb game. I'm no expert, but I doubt the NFL will be impressed with that.

Still, Georgia Tech has a lot of games against good competition left. Hopefully Holsey gets more than three carries in those games (as he did against Clemson).

I believe he has two years of eligibility, so he has a bunch more games. I think he is behind the starter from last year.

Right now I feel sorry for the kid. Such talent being wasted; just three carries against Clemson. So much fame and recognition awaited him in the Ivy League..
Monetary spike- yes. Lasting memories of a productive college career-no

Way too early to say it was a mistake for him to have transferred to GT.

He's already more famous at GT than he ever was at Penn. More people in Atlanta know who he is than in Philly, that's for sure. More NFL scouts, too.

... although he's nowhere near a household name in Atlanta.

And my understanding is that the NFL is well-aware that the Ivy League exists.

Technically accurate is the best kind of accurate.

Sure the NFL knows the Ivies exist. But they discount the talent because the opponents week in and week out aren't as good as the ACC and SEC and B1G Ten and even the Sunbelt and American...

Hosley has already proven his academic worth by getting admitted to Penn. As everyone knows, the toughest thing about the Ivy League is getting in.

Thought he had pro potential when he played against Cornell last year. Agreed too early to say.

How much did GT and NIL pay for him? If he doesn’t make it, can’t he go back to Wharton/Penn and continue his degree program?
