I pretty much agree with all the above picks. I think Cornell's defense will keep it close in the first half but Yale just has too much fire power. Regardless........Go Big Red!

Gtown over Columbia- think last year was ...

Brown over Harvard- why not

Cornell over Yale- Yale reads their press clippings and gets surprised

Lafayette over Princeton- Princeton defense bends a lot

Dartmouth over CCSU- easy win before they trek to Franklin Field

My bias pick, Penn plays a complete game and steals one against a good Lehigh team.

Last week's picks were 6-2 and 1-1 for Ivy Sprint.
Columbia offense line looked awful. On the positive side the running game was effective on the delay handoffs. The defense could not stop the run and the opposition recivers were open all over the field.

Yale and Harvard had a great power -spread offense with a strong defense.

Dartmouth continues to look the the most balanced offense in the Ivy.

Penn QB Liam is a great runner but last week he struggled in the passing game. WR Stokes
was the main rusher, will he become Hosely's replacement?
Cornell QB Paige looked like a young Wang with his shifty runs. Could he get most of the snaps against Yale?

Last month I said I don't know what to expect from Princeton and I still don't.

Brown did a stellar job on attacking the offense horizontally. The offense helped out by waiting a few seconds to snap the ball.

Sprint
Penn's offense was terrible. Their offense line was insufficient and the run game averaged 2 yards per carry. The qb wasn't much better. WR Wang was able to make tough catches in the flat despite double covered.

Cornell lost to Navy 40-7; But the Midshipmen were capable of putting up 70.

Week 2 picks:
Yale over Cornell
Harvard over Brown
Penn over Leigh
Lafayette over Princeton
Dartmouth over Central Conn
Georgetown over Columbia
Ivy Sprint
Mansfield over Penn
Cornell over Mollory

They are going to go 0-3 out of conference.

At best, they will go 4-3 in league play.

Gentlemen; the crystal ball has just been crystallized for this weekend of pigskin ancient as fallows: our blue; cantabs although I am rooting for the Bears; Indians in another scrimmage; lions, victorious; tigers, and Ben Franklin's most likely will not make it over the hump.

Yale over Cornell- Red not going to upset on the road

Dartmouth over CCSU- freshman will get to play

Harvard over Brown- Too much talent for Cantabs to lose

Columbia over Georgetown-- Bounce back game for Lions

Penn over Lehigh- Quakers get ready for BG

Princeton surprises Lafayette- Otherwise a long season is ahead

"Dartmouth over CCSU- freshman will get to play” Travel rosters are tight. Just read on BGA that only one freshman other than first year QBs is traveling. Also saw that Central Connecticut should have beaten Dartmouth last year in Hanover. This might be more of a challenge than we expect.

Agree - expect a significant challenge. D had to make a comeback inside of 5 minutes in the 4th last year in Hanover. Different year, different team on both sides with a a more seasoned D QB and a balanced attack, but this has the look and feel of a trap game for D coming off a generally confidence building win vs UNH. I hope I’m making more of it than it actually is.

It won't be anything close to Harvard-Stetson.

CCSU is decent.

Tiger 68: Princeton defense certainly did their part by their open field tackling and three turnovers. At this point it will take a whole lot more for the congress to grow a spine. International government's are flattering the president. It feels like the Department of Homeland security and ICE feel like a secret police. Similar to the old KGB, Stazi and gespto. I wasn't around during the 1960s but in some cases it seems very similar. Stay safe everyone.

Yale beats Cornell 41-24 in a sloppy game (on both sides) that was closer than the final score. Yale held a 27-24 lead with 4 minutes left in the game and Cornell had the ball. A very late pick 6 skewed the score a bit.

Cornell: Physical defense, big O line but their lack of big play ability will likely haunt them this season unless they play virtually mistake free football against the top teams

Yale: Good pass rush and a strong secondary. OK run defense and an offense that probably hasn’t hit its stride yet. But Yale has a tendency every year to get stronger as the season goes on. In some ways, they were lucky to win today. A Cornell DB seemingly pulled a hammy mid play and it resulted in a Yale TD pass. Without that, Cornell is up late, with the ball…

Gentlemen: Mr. Leotardo is correct about our blue whose win against the Cornelians was fortuitous and much closer than the score. The Cornelians ran a staggering 96 plays versus our blue 60.

Sorry I posted in the wrong thread, but like I said Yale ran the ball for 175 yards and Cornell has no running game. That was the difference maker. We still pretend to be an ACC or SEC team on offense. Oh well......same old same old for the Big Red.

I believe Cornell is better than their record. I was impressed watching Cornell Defense they handled 3rd and 4th short yardage situations . They made the Wide Receivers work for those catches. I believe going forward 14 Page, should be the starting QB. # 5 the RB is solid tough runner. Cornell, will be teams fits this year.
Yales defensive unit is a good one. The offense needs to play together (quarterback) but he will mature and get better. To be the catalyst that is needed for this offense. Our offensive coordinator needs to open the play book and stop being so predictable. He has the talent. He needs to understand the strengths of his player. Dante, is no Nolan Grooms or Grant. So he needs to realize that. So this kid can thrive. Good Luck Go Bulldogs.!

Gentlemen; unfortunately, our blue is missing several key offensive lineman and split ends. I agree with Mr.IWB our offensive coordinator does indeed needs to open the playbook to allow our signal caller to make the throws he is capable of. I humbly suggest some of the younger players at the split end position be given a chance to show what they can do. So far only Mr. Brown (who did not play in the cornelian game) and Mr. ship(who did not play in the crusader game) have made an impact in the games they did play.

Cornell is still building under Swanstrom, they will be a better team as time goes on.
