It shouldn't have been as close as it was, but Dartmouth beats CCSU 35-28.

We were hurt by turnovers, penalties, and missed field goals. Fortunately, we played well enough to get the victory.

Star of the game was Grayson Saunier with 407 yards passing. Play of the game was when it was tied at 28 and we had the ball at midfield with 25 seconds. CCSU was obviously expecting us to try a short out pattern. Instead, we went deep and the CCSU corner was completely fooled. Ky'dric Fisher (first catch of the game) was wide open and easily hauled in a 50-yard TD pass. You could just see all the energy leave CCSU after that...

Both teams made their very best effort to give the game away, and D escaped with a win. Run game seemed to suffer in the second half - that’s what I’d be worried about most right now in addition to your list. The UNH win instilled confidence - this one does not - but it served as a great mechanism to address the gaps prior to IL games, which to me is the real big picture purpose of OOC games.
