...Could somebody PLEASE explain to the snot-hag that Todd just wasn't that into her sex ploys? (And the one time he 'let' her pull him into the waters of her 'needs' - LOL - as soon as he woke up afterwards, he HAD to get home to Blair and his kids to the point of taking off in a homemade raft across the ocean to do it.) SHEESH!
WHY did they have to make her all about that in Wednesday's eppy? And the slap? What the hell was THAT even for? I mean she hadn't been in the room with him for 2 seconds and she has the temerity to hit him!? For what?
I HATE HER!!!! Even moreso than before - and we all know how much that was.
And the 'goading' him about the 'you never wanted to screw me' junk just made her look like an even bigger loser than she already is - what with falling for the imposter - and she should have known she wasn't married to the one and only Todd, based on the single fact that he DID screw her. UGH.

OK....I have been watching - or rather TRYING to watch OLTL (just in case our guy is really gonna show up there) and I am having a real hard time getting back into it. WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE? I dislike all of the new (to me) people, and of course the ever gag-worthy delgado - not to mention her frodd-todd.
It has been 7 or so years since I have even peeked at OLTL, and I see I haven't been missing much of anything. I do like Jerry ver Dorn, so seeing him is a treat. But that's it.
What exactly is there to like about this show???

It's been a long time since I have felt like talking here. And I am sure most of you get why I didn't want to.
However, if the news about Roger's return to OLTL turns out to be true, we have a whole new ballgame - er, I mean not quite new, I guess....same ol' shenanigans by the usual suspects - not to mention the tsj-sucks-rocks fans...UGH.
If he is back, will it be worth it? Hmmm...I am thinking HECK YES!!!! it will! So keep your eyes open - we still don't have official confirmation - nor do we know anything about 'who' he would play....(how could he not be Todd?)...so we will just sit with this a little while and then we will see about making some fresh changes around here.
I have missed all of you - especially our fellow Roger's Todd fans!

In the recent Suds Report, Nellie interviewed CZP. It's a wonderful interview, but something greatly disturbed me ........
TVG: World Turns must have been happy they were able to write you back into the show.
CZP: After the Stenbeck arc, Chris didnt expect to write me back in. So when I said I was available, they were happy to write me into Tom Pelphreys storyline.
There is not ONE mention of "Paul" in this interview when she talks about upcoming STORY. In fact it's mostly about TP and his Mick and how happy she is to work with him. No mention of it being an ensemble piece with Roger's Paul ... her character's son. No mention of Paul in "Tom Pelphrey's storyline" at all.
Yeah, boy. pEMILY is giving RH lots of meaty material. Yeah.

In this week's mags, Hensley does not take the liberty of speaking for Roger. I guess the poor tongue-tied lad doesn't need his beaksperson to say anything, since it seems unlikely by the spoilers that Paul is going to have much screen time next week. Sigh.
Hensley doesn't seem to be getting that big interview that she has been currying favor for from the gay boyz blogs, either. What a shame. Heh.

...as you can tell...I am not impressed with ATWT, right now. They have stuck my guy with the nutty one who maliciously tried to KILL him...And when that didn't do the job, she sent the one she would soon chain up with a dog bowl for water & food, to finish Paul off. (Which of course matches up with the rest of their horrid history.)
Don't misunderstand - I LOVE watching Roger on screen (unlike the newer not-so-improved - gag - PGP twits, my lack of love for Paul's storyline, does not have me calling him derogatory names and such...) and he is still looking mighty fine to this gal, mind you.
I find their (the twits') little pet names for Paul and his murderous, lying, NUTSO slag disgusting! (And once again, I have to clarify that our TAT is the one who came up with 'slag' for the nut-job, cuz the oh-not-so-skinny PGP twit ripped her off.) And oh so WRONG. Soulmates??? What??? NEVER. They have never been that to each other, and I have to lay money on that NEVER happening - especially this go around. Could people really be that obtuse? According to these Soap Opera Source spoilers for this upcoming week of August 10...:
Barbara finds Paul drunk in the wine cellar at Fairwinds. Frustrated, she tries to talk Paul into going to a clinic that she picked out for him. Paul finally agrees, but only if Emily can go with him. Barbara swallows her pride and agrees. Outside the clinic, Paul distracts Barbara while Emily sneaks up behind her with a wine bottle. After putting her in the back seat, Paul goes inside to inform the clinic that he won't be residing there.
Instead, he finds the clinic empty until he comes face to face with James. Paul quickly realizes his father set the whole thing up. Suddenly, Paul's memories return and he takes a wheelchair-bound James back to Fairwinds. Confused, Emily realizes Paul's memory has returned. When Paul asks for his money back, Emily refuses and declares she's the best thing that happened to him before storming out in a huff. Later, Paul lets his mother and father get reacquainted in the Fairwinds wine cellar.

...Paul gets his memory back and very wisely DUMPS the nut-job. He also wants his money back!....Uh Oh! We all now how the slag of a nut-job is gonna take that little piece of news, now don't we? Roger just rocked the house. From his sly amiability with Lucy to his new resolve with Meg, RH's portrayal of Paul was so multifaceted, so on key, so well done that the underlying metaphor of his final scene with Meg just sprang out. Paul and Meg and the "strip scene" was an exact mirroring of what Meg has been doing to Paul. Exact. And don't get me wrong ... regardless of all the bullshit that the writers seem compelled to drown Paul and Meg in ... I still am rooting for Peg. BUT! I had little empathy for Meg because I STILL vividly remember her sending DUSTY with Eliza for Paul's visitation. I still vividly remember all the things she has done to Paul about Eliza. All of her support of Dusty's demands about Paul, his dealings with Paul. Vividly. (NT)

I've been frustrated since Oct 06 (the gala ball) with the ATWT writers, but Roger keeps me glued to my tv with his phenomenal portrayal of Paul Ryan. In years past, if I got frustrated with a storyline I just stopped watching the show, but not now. I do not want to miss one scene Roger is in -- he is pure magic onscreen. First, there will be no snaps of Roger's Paul with the SLAG (btw - there is a girl-man on PGP who stole 'slag' from Tat, but she was the one who dubbed the nut-job as a slag!) I just cannot stomach the nut-job. At all. I may try to get some of Paul earlier in the show, sometime today....
SECOND....So, her highness McClain (GAG ME) is stepping off her high horse to don ATWT with her holy presence? *SHUDDER*....can you hear the fan-gurls screaming? Not impressed. What did the rest of us do to earn this punishment? SHE SUX!!!! Is she going to come with a 'keep your trash mouth closed' clause? I hope we are at the very least that fortunate. - Here's my problem with Meg....she does love Paul, you can see that. But she never gives the guy an inch. And yeah, I know he's screwed up countless times, but it's always been because he feels so insecure about her love for him....and she feeds that insecurity all the time, threatening to walk out on an hourly basis! He just seems to be so much more into her than she is into him, and that's what makes me so sad. That being said, if Meg ever finds it in her heart to stop this push/pull thing, and truly accept Paul, flaws and all, I'll be the first one to cheer them on. But now that Dustbin is back in her life, I am really not liking her at all. If Paul's plan to "get Meg back" involves him sleeping around and having a good time, then I say "Woo hoo!" I have missed you gals! Sorry we were not around during the last month, or so, but I had the annual special RHF project going - PLUS the Christmas season and all. (I thought as my grandbabies became teenagers that Christmas for them would be easier....I was WRONG! LOL!) We had our grandchildren a lot this past month, and we enjoyed every second of them.
Went to see "Twilight" TWICE! Hee! LOVE that movie! I just finished the fourth book of the Twilight series, and it was by far the best! BTW - The music playing on the board is "Bella's Lullaby" from the "Twilight" movie.
I assure you I did not miss a minute of our guy, either!!! He is still rockin' the world! WOW! And Meg had his baby! YAY! for Eliza Ryan!
Now, I have a few things that have been ruling my thoughts as I watched the show:
1. Can the nut-job PLEASE shoot the thug that is Dusty?
2. What the hell is Dusty doing?
3. Who does Dusty think he is?
4. Dusty makes me wanna puke!!!!
5. And....(last but not least) Can SOMEBODY please kill Dusty???
Also - My snappy maker is acting up on me....I will get it going soon - I hope! Anyway, it is good to be back - You gals get over here and talk to us! HEY CLAUDIA! Good to see you!

- Welcome back! Peg has been busy...Paul in the psych ward and Meg giving birth. Baby Eliza is beautiful, isn't she. As much as I want to hit Dusty, I also need to thank him for bring Meg to the hospital. Loved Barbara on Friday, defending Paul and telling Dusty where to put his ego and to stay away from Meg. I will say, I'm not really happy with the current story. I still want Ryan family together and married but when Meg mentioned the "d" word to Paul, I just wanted to cry...why did Meg have to say that...WHY? I understand why she moved out and I support her for the decision but NOT a divorce! Paul needs Meg and Eliza's support right now! Marie and Roger performance have been stellar.
