Thank you! You most certainly answered my questions, and gave me lots of interesting additional information. I had noticed some of the variations on the opening credits that you mentioned, but have never seen Fred MacMurray in the white sweater or Ronne Troup and Dawn Lyn in the opening credits.
If you don't mind, I do have another question. At what point in the series did Stanley Livingston (the actual person, not the character "Chip") get married? He seemed conspicuously absent during several episodes at the end of Season 11 and beginning of Season 12 and I thought he may have taken time off to get married. Thanks so much!
