Found this from last year regarding the show but I don't remember seeing it anywhere in our little Whoser world. According to the Parents Television Council...

Worst of the Week

June 23 - June 29, 2003
Whose Line is it Anyway?
By Aubree Rankin

"ABC’s improvisational comedy show Whose Line is It Anyway? returned with new summer episodes June 20, and judging from the offensive content, it never should have made a comeback. The 9:00 p.m. (ET) episode on the 20th featured Richard Simmons as the guest star. In recent late-night TV appearances, the exercise guru has played-up his odd behaviors and effeminate affectations for humor, and during this family hour program, he once again played all those stereotypes to the hilt.

"In one sketch, the comics use Richard as a prop in a story narrated by host Drew Carey. Richard eagerly joked “I’ll be all the props for all these men.” At one point, he was supposed to be impersonating a jet ski. Colin Mochrie stood straddling Richard who laid on his back on the ground. Colin pulled Richard’s arms up to simulate the handles of a jet ski, and Richard’s head was even with Colin’s crotch. Richard bobbed his head up and down, vigorously, suggestive of performing oral sex on Colin. Later on, Richard and Wayne Brady are supposed to be planks of wood that Colin and Ryan Stiles are building with, and Richard embraces, almost kisses, and then mounts Wayne on the floor in a blatant sexual position.

"The graphic nature of this episode is offensive to all viewers. Families tuning in after the innocuous America’s Funniest Home Videos were in for a shock if they kept their TV’s on ABC. Parents were likely horrified at the prospect of explaining to small children the implications of oral sex and intercourse depicted by the comedians. Whose Line was once a very clever and relatively clean program, so it is disheartening to see these recent episodes going for gutter laughs."

These people have GOT to open their eyes. Since WHEN was "Whose Line?" a "relatively clean program"? Every single show has included sexual innuendos, if not outright sexually explicit acts--whether it's Colin grabbing Ryan's privates or Wayne singing about a rhino horn up his socket.

Not all of the blue material is blatant, and not everyone catches the offensive parts. For example, Colin made a remark during IYKWIM when he, Brad and Ryan were in a bakery: "You look like you've been freshly sugared, if you know what I mean" went under a LOT of people's radars--to put it in polite terms, the remark relates to post-coital effluvium on the male genitalia. Where was the outcry against that particular statement? Nowhere, because people didn't get it. Just like a lot of people might not relate the jet ski scene to oral sex.

But clearly, what's considered bad to one group is great to another. Personally, I think that Richard was one of the best guests they've ever had on! So much energy, and he jumped right in there and got the audience going right along with the performers. I just hope that poor Greg didn't hyperventilate too badly! LOL
