Mary...

How many people are usually there? Or does it vary? I am at a point where I really want and need real time atheist peers vs. on line. My on line atheist friends are great, I wouldn't want to ever lose them but I am finding I want real time like minded people to talk to.

;o) Same here. I was raised catholic and it never really made a lot of sense to me. It took me a very long time to realize I am atheist. Slow learner I guess. ;o)

I work for Mayo Hospital however I have accepted a job as a forensic auditor. It's actually a brand new field of medicine and I am excited about doing it. It won't be starting for a few more weeks but I am looking forward to teh career change. I love medicine, I have been in this field my whole life however I think it's time for a change. I still want to stay in medicine but as I wrote, this is an entirely new field so that is exciting.

I'm really pleased you decided to post. I would love to get to know other folks in Phx that are atheist.
