If there are at least five contestants will you be considering adding fourth and fifth places? Just something I was wanting to throw out there. I know, because I've been there. I would rather not be called if that's my situation and skip the onstage plaque. At least when you only announce 3 of say 6, you never know who placed where past a point below them. Nationals has a top 5 because the average division is running 20 girls plus. I doubt we will hit those numbers given so far. Another issue is cost. If I give out extra prize baskets, it's at least another $20 per contestant for the plaque, the goodies and flowers of any kind. So the number of contestants in the division would have to make up for the loss of money in providing extra items. I don't forsee adding any placements but will know closer to March when our final numbers are in. If we have say, 8 or 9 in one of the divisions, we might broaden THAT division to include a top 5 court but again, we'll have to see what the numbers tell us.... [ Post a Reply to This Message ]
