A distant island to far to see
Afraid of one look we would flee
Closer than we think but the jump so far
Spend all your time thinking, when in reality it's not hard
Unravel the mystery that puzzles your mind
It feels like an eternity but it won't take much time
The past is gone and can't haunt you no more
Everything is buried and you have to close that door
All your dreams now sadly cold
Your heart's not gone it's in your hand to hold
Easy to be addicted to the attention you receive
More difficult to break away and try to leave
Everyone wants you, it's easy to give in
It's hard when there are no answers, misery blinds our conviction…GM
