As Years Trickle By.



A lady of sixty-four sits by the table near the window reads a book. Nice hair, dyed of course,
Oh, my God, the young couple, near the door, are kissing again, my coffee cup is cold against my lips.
Hers are swollen, red inviting, but not meant for me.
The young man she fancies, has wavy hair and sunglasses jauntily pushed on top of his forehead,
Unblemished skin and sparkling eyes.
But what the hell, I've had my years mustn't greedy
Be; I'll wet my appetite on the young and fuck
The sixty-four, years old.
