Seeing that he caught it safely and was now engrossed in cleaning the dark-hided Ravenel, she turned her attention back to her own dragonet.

Now that she could focus on Kyrissaenel, she could take note of every last detail of the little queen. She seemed smaller than other golds she'd seen hatched, and hiding that thought from Kyrissaenel, she looked at the color of the dragon's hide. It wasn't really bright stunning metallic gold, like some queens, or a soft, buttery-yellowish color like others. No, her dragon was a nice shade of gold, like an older, well-worn piece of gold jewelry might look. Still, she was beautiful, from her unusually large multi-faceted eyes to the tip of her golden tail which lashed beneath the water as she tilted her head back in ecstasy, leaning harder into Kyrie and the scrub brush.
