Christmas had come and gone and really, those winter months had been the last that he had really spent here. It seemed that the withdrawl had gone into a remission during those months, he was happy during those months but as soon as spring had started to break through he had hit a severe depression. Flash backs had started, his irritability had increased and he just became hell to be around. Back then he knew he had been hurting Maddy with basically every word he spoke and really, he knew that she was to young, to innocent to be tainted by him. So, with all that in mind, he had gone to Jaden and asked him to let him borrow some money - there was no way he was going to his sister for help - and had taken off. It had taken awhile to decide what he wanted to do but a night at Jadens had revealed to him the box that the older man had hidden in the closet. The blue bandana had intrigued him and it probably wasn't the best idea but he had gone off to cleveland. He had been there for six months, gotten involved in a few more then shady deals and gotten back on what had taken him so long to get off of. He had talked to some old guys, well guys in their mid thirties, about West, King and Davenport, heard a lot of stories and got quietly involved. Being who he was, he was let pretty easily into their world there in Cleveland but of course not overly trusted. It wasn't like he had gone and joined a gang or anything, just started associating with a group of people who used to be associated with DN. That gang itself had long since been disassembled and was now just a legend that people boasted about knowing of. Anyways, he was back here now just for a couple of weeks to get rid of his apartment here and most of the stuff he had laying around was going to be sold. He wasn't about to lie and say he hadn't missed Maddie, that it hadn't broken his heart everytime he thought about her but he had always known that she was to good for a washed up user. He couldn't quite face going to Stacie and Ryan so for right now he was just staying here on the couch...
