He couldn't help but smile as he saw Rio and Jackie on the couch when he entered the cafe. The two looked happy and content which was more then he could ask for when it came to the young couple. It made him feel good that they were doing good, like he was actually doing ok for these kids. It meant a lot to him to see them succeed and Rio was very close to succeeding in life, they would be the next ones to move out of the house, he was pretty sure of that. Respecting their privacy, he moved to the side of the cafe, the best part of this place was they had a smoking section so he automatically went out to the enclosed patio where that section was before he flipped open his cell phone, dialing his girlfriend number. They were all doing pretty damn good if you asked him, they were rebuilding their lives after losing Lysia, most of them were working full time or trying to get their GED'S...things were going good, he definately wasn't about to complain. A smile played on his lips as he listened to the phone ring, lighting up a cigarette. She was doing a lot better to, interacting more with the other kids, being more socialable..and it was making him a hell of a lot more relaxed. At the moment he was planning on having her meet him there, get a coffee to get him awake and then maybe take her out to dinner or something after that, something she wasn't expecting. A small smile tipped his lips up as he tipped his head back and closed his eyes, exhaling slowly as he waited for her to pick up.
