He'll get the PT and a prized degree to boot instead of becoming a CBA bum or something if he does pan out to be a superstar. I mean if you weren't a sure-fire prospect but needed national exposure, wouldn't the best thing be to play for a school that has both great academics and some national exposure? Eventually that's what worked for Penn, Cal, Rice, and even Stanford to a degree. I mean why not get the best of both worlds and plenty of playing time, too?
