Subject: He laughed, shaking his head. "I can't believe your so excited about saying 'ass'" He shook his head, playfully, a smile on his face as he watched her. "Your so childish, Acey." He grinned, leaning back against the palms of his hands as he looked up at the skye - noting how it was getting darker so much earlier in the day now that winter was closing in on them. His eyes moved over to Ace then, resting on her for a moment. It seemed their relationship was a stalemate, it wasn't going anywhere, wasn't growing any...it was just...there.

  • She was still quite proud of her swear, to tell the truth, as she dropped back, adapting the same pose that he had on the sand, looking up at the sky. "There are some things that you take for granted before you become a parent.. it's natural to be excited about the word ass.. or asses in general.. especially nice ones." She looked up at him, grinning a bit, a playful gleam to her eye - she appreciated his friendship, no matter what was going on between them romantically. "You know, you haven't got such a bad ass for an old man." (NT) -- Ace, 14:00:40 11/02/05 Wed
