Subject: "I'm feeling fine, don't need no damn babysitter." He stated with a low growl to his face, running his hand over his head absently before he glared down at the IV. He could be a little bit of a difficult patient from time to time and now was one of those times. If he had his choice he would have been out of here days ago and back home in his impressive estates with the stables and the horses and the peace and quiet and intense lack of poking and prodding but doctors and their damn tests and needles.

  • "You may be feeling better, but as your doctors have explained, there is still a lot that needs to be monitored." She reminded him, as kindly but firmly as possibly - she was a slight girl, tiny really relative to him, but she was strong-willed and there was something about her tone that invited no arguments. "And I promise that I won't act like your babysitter. I'm just around to give you some guidance and keep an eye on how your health progresses. Besides, don't you want to go home?" She pulled up a chair and lowered herself to the edge of it, next to his bed, and flipped open his file. (NT) -- Aubree, Fri, Oct 07 2005, 11:01pm PDT
