Subject: He frowned again, letting his head drop back down against the pillows as a slight dizzy wave spread over him. He hated this weakness, it was what was going to kill him. He didn't even remember the chicks name but not because of his memory issues, just because he hadn't been paying attention when she was talking. He patted the table next to him, finding the remote and turning on sports center without acknowledging anything she had just said - if it was important she would tell him again.

  • She just smiled and pushed the chair back to its corner before clicking out of the room - undisturbed, though her smile turned wry the moment she exited the room and a passing by resident nurse laughed knowingly. The guy was, simply put, a lug, it appeared. Not much of a charmer. She didn't mind though - this was her job, and though she loved it, it didn't mean she would always love her assignments. Undeterred, she made her way over to the nurses' station where she leaned over the counter and chatted with the woman behind it - getting his stuff all sorted out, but chit-chatting a little at the same time.
