Subject: He waved her off with a growl and a mumbled 'yeah yeah' waiting till the door was shut before he dropped back onto the bed, taking a few calming breaths. All he wanted to do at the moment was break down and throw a temper tantrum like a baby. This wasn't fair. He was the best there was, shit like this didn't happen to the best. It took him a good fifteen minutes - he refused to ask for help - to get himself cleaned up a bit and dressed and back to sitting up in the bed - being straight up gave him a bad sense of vertigo and made him a bit nausuas...

  • "Alright, perfect..." She commented as she returned, wheeling a chair for him, and then lined it up next to the bed with the brakes on. Typically, she would have offered a hand to help him off the bed and down in to the wheelchair, but she could tell already that he would merely scoff at it, so just made sure that she was near enough by to steady him if he got off balance. This wasn't just a case of him being off of his feet for a few days - his brain was all muddled and she knew it, but he wouldn't hear her if she said it. He would figure it out soon enough though.
