Subject: "Light For Glastonbury" Ceremony, Weekend 25th Oct 2003

Invitations went out across the country and only a small group of people where resolved enough to brave the elements, the cold and the dark to met up Glastonbury Tor. The ceremony began and we placed our hands on the earth to say thank you. We could feel the earth energies coming up to meet our feet, and it warmed us. The elements seemed to get less cold. We called to the Spirit of this land, sacred Avalon � hear us. And as we did so a great gust of wind rushed in and around our circle, it was very much alive. The ceremony was at the time of the New moon, new beginnings. It was the Celtic New Year, Samhain where the Two Worlds where very close and you could commune with the ancestors and faery realms. It was a good time to Release the old and bring in new. We asked the spirit of Glastonbury if it was appropriate if there was anything it wanted to release. We consciously channeled any negative energy back into oneness. As we did so several peoples bodies shook and it felt like lightning bolts running through our bodies. We each cleaned off and returned to our center. Then we each put in a blessing and asked that it be taken from this point outwards to all beings. It was a beautiful night.
